Portrait & Street Photography
Workshop
20-29 JULY, 2026
Thailand
Where there is light, there is movement,
and where there is movement, there is story. "Gaylan Nazhad"
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Nazhad is recognised for his evocative street and portrait photography that merges atmosphere, light, and emotion into a single visual language. With a careful and reflective eye, he creates expressive images of people and places that balance beauty and tension, inviting viewers into his personal sense of time and mood.
The purpose of this 10-day, 9-night all-inclusive workshop is to explore how travel, light, and observation combine to create powerful, narrative street photography. Participants will engage with the idea of visual ambiguity, learning how to photograph what is felt rather than simply what is seen. We will work with the rich palette of tropical light: the soft dawn haze over Bangkok’s canals, the golden dusk along Krabi’s cliffs, and the deep twilight tones of Phuket’s coastline.
You will be encouraged to see with patience and intention, to find stillness in movement, and to use photography as a way to translate atmosphere into expression.
Thailand offers the perfect setting, a country layered with rhythm, ritual, and radiant light. From crowded markets to quiet fishing villages, from modern skylines to the open sea, each location opens new visual possibilities and emotional depth.
