Street Moments
Published 2025
Street Moments brings together two decades of photographs made across some of the world's largest and most restless cities, including London, Shanghai, Bangkok, Sydney, Rome, and many others. Rather than documenting places, the photographs linger on the fleeting encounters, gestures, and quiet interactions that shape everyday urban life. They observe the city not as architecture or spectacle, but as a living theatre where millions of individual stories briefly intersect before disappearing again.
Working instinctively within the rhythm of the street, the photographs resist dramatic events in favour of subtle human moments, those fragments of connection, solitude, hesitation, humour, and chance that often pass unnoticed. The images do not seek to explain the cities they inhabit. Instead, they invite viewers to slow down and encounter the emotional undercurrents hidden within ordinary life.
Spanning twenty years of observation, Street Moments reflects an enduring commitment to looking patiently and without judgement. Each photograph stands as an independent encounter, yet together they form a meditation on the shared human experience that quietly transcends geography, language, and culture. Meaning remains open, unfolding differently with every viewing, reminding us that the street is not merely a place we pass through, but a space where countless lives briefly reveal themselves before returning to the anonymous flow of the city.
